It gives what in numbers

During the GDC (Game Developers Conference) in Austin, 2 developers have submitted World of Warcraft in a different form more precise figures. These are astronomical and represent well the enormous machine that is set in motion the world of MMORPGs for almost 5 years!

Here is how you make your head spin and give you a better idea of what lies behind your screen:

- The game World of Warcraft from Blizzard currently has 30 different departments.
- 32 programmers manage over 5.5 million lines of code.
- 10 people are present to handle all other departments.
- 51 artists working in the artistic design of the game
- 37 people working on the design and the events of the game
- 123 people are affiliated with the Film Department.
- 245 people involved localizations of the game and looking for bugs.

For technical service:

- 20,000 sf are currently in use.
- 1000 terabytes of files stored.
- 13.250 servers.
- 75,000 processors.
- 112.5 terabytes of RAM.

For the figures involved:

- 2056 GamesMasters.
- 340 employees for the commercial support.
- More than 12 million active accounts wow.
- Over 4,449,680,399 deeds performed by all players.

Finally, Blizzard has 4,600 employees in 30 departments to manage over 12 million players with 20,000 sf and 900,000 files managed by the Internet department. Wow did not finish us make your head spin.
