GOA and Mythic Entertainment have announced plans to celebrate the first anniversary of the MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR). The festivities begin on September 1st in Europe with the introduction of new live event, the Wild Hunt and then extend throughout the month with the organization of scenarios special weekend, the introduction of bonus XP and renown 20% of novel objects in the game for all players, rewards for veterans, and more.

The live event “The Wild Hunt”, to be held between 1 and September 10, 2009, will pit armies of Order and Destruction for stalking the ultimate prey, in a completely new dungeon instantiated : the Valley of the Hunter. This live event will be followed by events “special weekend” during which you can play new versions of the following scenarios: the Temple of Mourkain (11-14 September), the Gates of Ekrund (18-21 September) the Temple of Isha (25-28 September).
During the celebration of September, objects anniversary special - including pies halfling and cape jubilee - will be delivered to players via messages in the game! Loyal fans who are waging a war without thank you for a year now receive a reward of a veteran, sponsored WAR, and a new title, the weapon of WAR. Plus 20% bonus experience and renown offered during the month of September, each defeated enemy in RvR will pick up fireworks, beer explosive and still other objects unpublished special anniversary.
